On 5th of September, 1977, NASA launched Voyager 1 space probe. So far it has traveled 125 AU as of August 2013, and it is still traveling at the relative speed against the Sun at 17 km per second, which is the fastest speed of an object made by mankind. The rocket engine that lift Voyager 1 was Titan IIIE. NASA did great missions which took advantage of The Planetary Grand Tour and gravitational slingshot. Using gravity energy during the mission, Voyager 1 and 2 are now into the eternity of interstellar travel of lonely and silent.

While writing this webpage, ABC television aired Dick Smith's own documentary production - Ten Bucks a Liter. In this show, Mr. Smith made no discussion on engine efficiency. He failed to point out many important "attributes" that differentiate fossil energy and renewable energy. Blue Energy Thermal Engine (BETE) is a heat engine similar to a reciprocation engine, for example, Internal Combustion Engine (ICE).
Because crankshaft is a component contributing to very high level of energy waste in a reciprocation engine, we have invented a mechanical system to replace crankshaft. This system provides alternating action caused by gas expansion through a dual_cylinders arrangement, and a creative gear transmission system to tangentially transfer reciprocating force into torque force, which minimizes energy lost seen in a crankshaft solution.
